What is the Hymenoplasty?

A surgery that enables in restoring a ruptured hymen is also known as Hymenoplasty. Hymen is a symbol of purity in many cultures whereas scientific evidences suggest that this thin membrane was meant to keep out infection in the vagina. Our hospital is located in europian  side of Istanbul. 15 minutes driving distance from the airport. All processes are practised by gynecologist and accompanied by anesthetics experts.

Hymenoplasty can be done in two ways – if the remnants of the hymen are present, then it can be stitched back together. The second option is to reconstruct a new hymen using tissues from the patient’s body. Along with restoring the hymen, you can also get the vaginal walls tightened. This surgery will repair the hymen, but you will experience bleedingand discomfort the next time it ruptures.

Although a lot of conservative societies emphasize the need for a virgin bride, this procedure has gained immense popularity in the less conservative societies such as in the United States and Europe.

Hymenoplasty is a very safe procedure, but you need to be very careful when you pick a doctor. Since this is done in an intimate area of the body, you need to make sure that you are very comfortable with the doctor.
